HURRICANE IAN RELIEF Giving back to our community! This past Oct of 2021 one of our founders moved to Central Florida and this past week she and the family endure the effects of Hurricane Ian along with millions of Floridians. While they made it out with minimal damage many people along the coastal cities of the Gulf of Mexico weren't as lucky. Day after the Hurricane hit our team stepped up to pitch with countless other who on a local and state-wide level pitched in as well, because we all know it takes a village. All Silked donations went to https://www.volunteerflorida.org/donatefdf/ where to date First Lady Casey DeSantis has raised over $35,000,000 to help Floridians effected by the natural disaster. Sending so much Love...
Happy Fall Equinox! We just launched our new FAE FLOWER Eco-sustainable pillowcase sleeve, so we wanted to explore more of the printed color trends in 2022. In response to the eye-grabbing, in-your-face trends we’ve seen over the past few years it was our thought that for Fall 2022 we needed something classic, simple and chic in our lives. To take it one step further we wrote a blog last month about Silk Gift Ideas for the ultimate Wedding Party gift idea. Interesting facts about using Silk for Wedding dresses is it both cools and warms simultaneously, makes...
This time of year, florals and stripes typically rule so we decided to shake things up a little this spring with a seriously BOLD POP of PAISLEY! Today paisley patterns remain prominent in home decor like bedding textiles and carpets in blends of shades that can be an opulent and refined nod to paisley’s extended history or a colorful and psychedelic homage to an iconic popularity it enjoyed in the late 1960s. Fun fact about paisley is it became an icon for psychedelic style when the Beatles took up with...
